Silicone hoses have a number of significant advantages over conventional rubber hoses, especially in automotive and industrial equipment.

while rubber begins to deteriorate at +120–130°C.
This is especially important in the engine cooling system.

- Resistance to chemicals and aggressive environments
They are more resistant to antifreeze, oils, gasoline (in moderate concentrations), UV radiation and ozone.
Rubber loses elasticity over time and begins to "run".
- Flexibility and pressure resistance
Silicone remains elastic even in cold weather and when aging.
Less risk of ruptures or leaks due to vibration and pressure.
- Aesthetics and tuning
Silicone pipes often come in bright colors (blue, red, black),
giving the engine compartment a sporty and neat look.
Often used in tuning.
