INSTALLATION AND OPERATION MANUAL

1. Installing the Wiper Intermittent Relay

WARNING! Installation of the relay must be performed with the vehicle's battery disconnected.

1.1 Disconnect the wiring harness from the steering column wiper switch by unplugging the 6-pin connector located behind the dashboard or inside the steering column housing.
1.2 Connect the wiper relay terminals to the disconnected wiring harness to complete the circuit.
1.3 Using the provided connector, link the free wire of the wiper relay to the wire connecting the steering column switch to the washer motor. This is one of the wires in the 2-pin connector of the steering column switch. Its voltage will change from +12V to 0V (or vice versa) when the washer is activated, depending on the specific car model.
1.4 Secure the relay in a convenient location inside the vehicle using its mounting hole. The wiper relay is now ready for operation.

2. Adjusting the Wiper Pause

2.1 Set the wiper mode switch to the “Intermittent Mode” position. This activates the standard pause between wiper sweeps (approximately 5 seconds).
2.2 To adjust the pause, move the switch to the “Off” position, wait for the desired pause duration, and then return it to the “Intermittent Mode” position. The new pause duration will be set. The adjustable pause range is from 0.5 to 45 seconds.
2.3 Alternatively, adjust the pause by switching to “Continuous Mode” and, during the first wiper sweep, quickly switch back to “Intermittent Mode.”
The pause duration will equal the time interval between the last wiper sweep and the moment you switched to “Continuous Mode.”
You can change the pause at any time by repeating steps 2.2 or 2.3.

3. Additional Features

3.1 When the washer is activated, the first wiper sweep is delayed by 0.5 seconds. This allows enough water to accumulate on the windshield before the wiper sweeps.
3.2 After the washer is activated, the wipers will automatically perform three sweeps.
